Here's a great example of horrible design. How many times have you bought a bottle of something to drink, in this case coconut water, only to find that the cleverly designed wrapped packaging that is supposed to tear off at the perforation, thus allowing easy access to the tasty fluids enveloped inside, right? No way, not happening half the time...or really most the time! Anywho, this is about what you'll see here. I have a funny feeling, you'll be seeing a ton of design.

Kick off with an example of GREAT design
Since the question was posted on Facebook about whether or not there would be example of horrible web design, I've decided that maybe the best way to venture forth would be with an example of fantastic design. Recently, on my winter study trip to Belgium & The Netherlands, I was introduced to the EYE Film Institute, an amazing place in Amsterdam dedicated to all things film. On our visit, we were informed about their new Celluloid Remix contest in which you can take clips of found footage posted by EYE, download them and then reconfigure to your hearts desire. You can mix & match with your own material and then upload to participate in their contest.
The site has a great and intuitive design and you're sure to have fun bouncing around their archives and watching clips. The site is only available, but I've made the link to a translation of the website, so it should be easily navigable for you.
Check out the link HERE.

Welcome to horrible-design
Ever get pissed off at a package that wouldn't open right or a suitcase that got a broken wheel from taking only one stair on the way to the airport? Well, this is the place to be then because we'll be highlighting things of this exact nature. This could be a good thing, as it might enlighten some to products which are designed poorly and thus not worth your time or money...orrrrr...this could be a bad thing because, like me, you abhor inept design and/or products which don't function as promised, thereby wasting your time and money--if this is the case, you might be pissed of even more after seeing some of the stuff highlighted here. So, try to stay calm and take it all in...because...horrible design is everywhere.
